Sound

Another renewable energy source that works in conjunction with the photovoltaic effect is sound. Unlike electromagnetic radiation, sound can be produced by anything, including the movement of air and water, the beating of the drums in an auditorium, the creaking of wood, and the rushing of water through the pipes in your home. Some forms of sound are produced by the wind, while others are made by animal and human voices. The majority of sound energy is converted into other forms of radiation and heat. Sound is a powerful renewable energy resource that has been used for millennia throughout the world.
